ST NEOTS IT support provider BrightVisions has won another national contract, providing IT infrastructure and support services to a new Tesco-backed artisan coffee venture, Harris and Hoole.

Harris and Hoole was founded by Australian siblings Nick, Andrew and Laura Tolley, of Taylor Street Barista fame, and claims to bring a fresh approach to coffee using the latest barista methods and offering premium products on the high street.

It takes its name from coffee-loving characters in Samuel Pepys’s diaries so, with the author’s strong Huntingdonshire connections, it is perhaps fitting that the IT is to be run from here.

BrightVisions has been employed to execute complete IT infrastructure installation in each location, ensuring full connectivity with head office and wi-fi for customers. There are three shops so far - in Amersham, Uxbridge and Ruislip.

The innovative and cost effective solution which has enhanced Harris and Hoole’s customer and team member experience is the brainchild of BrightVisions technical director, Alex Foster, the Colmworth Business Park company said this week.

“Alex has been with BrightVisions for six years, during which time he has built up a reputation in the market place for providing state of the art IT solutions at affordable prices,” said company spokesman Julie Balaam.

“This, coupled with the unique culture of BrightVisions, helped secure this win despite competition from larger competitors.”

Alex added: “We are delighted to have been chosen over the other large multi-national companies who were bidding for this contract. Harris and Hoole felt our solution was one of the best, both in terms of our offering and value for money, as well as favouring our approach.”

BrightVisions managing director Phil Mashinchi commented: “We pride ourselves on providing a personal touch while delivering the high levels of service that our clients both demand and expect from a company of our standing. That approach fits well with Harris and Hoole’s own philosophy, and we are confident that the future holds a successful partnership between our two companies.”
