ENCOURAGEMENT to improve employee skills and recruitment will be the subjects of two July seminars in Huntingdonshire organised by Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce.
The first is a breakfast meeting on July 12 at the Huntingdon Marriott from 7.45 to 10am, when experienced speakers will explain how better skills lead to increased productivity and, ultimately, improvements to businesses' bottom line.
On July 17 three chamber members will give presentations on the selection process, competence-based interviews and employment law update. The event at Huntingdon Racecourse between midday and 2pm will also be an opportunity to network with other personnel professionals.
Huntingdonshire Business Network is staging a seminar from 2pm to 3pm this Friday (July 6) at the Commemoration Hall in Huntingdon High Street, when Jon Beal, of Netflare, a web design and marketing company, will advise on writing for promotional purposes.
