THE judges will be looking for a solid record of achievement from the winner of this brand-new award category.

Chairman of judges John Bridge, who is chief executive of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce and a former Huntingdonshire businessman, told The Hunts Post yesterday (Tuesday): "What we are looking for is someone who can identify exceptional potential within the workforce and put a programme together to ensure the employee can be utilised to best effect.

"We shall be looking for a sustainable programme over a period of time and for those principles to be applied to as many people in the workforce as possible.

"We also want to see a culture of life-long learning, developing people in courses other than those directly related to the work they are currently doing, including hobbies and foreign languages," he added.

"So it's a very broad base we shall be looking for - it must be unique, different and sustainable.
