THE managing director of the newest sponsor of the Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards has been appointed to its parent company's main board.
Michael Eyres, 50, has become a director of Huntingdon-based Artisan (UK) plc, developer of business parks and home-builder. He joined Artisan (UK) Developments Limited in 1999, becoming MD two years later. He will be responsible for the plc's commercial development activities.
Mr Eyres, right, is pictured with Shailesh Vara, MP for North West Cambridgeshire, at the opening of a new flagship business park in Hampton, between Sawtry and Peterborough.
His company will present the New Business Award at a ceremony in November.
