ST IVES Town Football Club has announced it has teamed up with Marshalls as its first-team sponsors for the current season.
The company is the UK’s leading hard landscaping manufacturer, and has had a plant in St Ives since the early 1980s.
Mark Taylor, St Ives Town FC’s commercial director, said: “This is fantastic news for the club to have the backing of a company of Marshalls’ standing and so critical for its ongoing development.
“Both the club and Marshalls are very keen to continue to grow our respective involvement in the local community and as part of the current deal Marshalls are very kindly sponsoring the kit for St Ives Rangers new Under 7’s team.”
Chris Annis, works manager at Marshalls St Ives, added: “Marshalls is a major local employer and we believe in supporting the communities in which we operate.
“We are very proud to be sponsors of the team and wish them well this season.”
