HEALTH Enterprise East, the region's Papworth-based NHS innovation hub, has announced Chris Armstrong as its new marketing co-ordinator.
The role is focused on raising the profile of HEE to both the NHS and the commercial sector, promoting the services and help on offer to develop ideas for products and services that will improve the patient experience.
Mr Armstrong arrives with communications experience including press relations, public engagement and internal communications within the public sector.
HEE head of communications Maggie Lewis said: "We are delighted to welcome Chris to this important role within the team. Spreading the word about our services and expertise is central to achieving our objectives, as is organising our annual Innovation Awards dinner. His skills in this area will be especially valuable.
