LEEDS Day Solicitors raised 4,595 through its recent Will Aid scheme.

The partnership, which has offices in St Neots, Huntingdon and St Ives, prepared 83 wills for clients, with the usual fees being donated to the Will Aid charities, which include ActionAid, British Red Cross and the NSPCC.

Legal executive Minna Rae, who worked with colleagues Jane Ollett, Stephen Goodwin and Marie Asquith on the project, said: “Leeds Day Solicitors has participated in Will Aid for many years but this year has been our busiest and most successful ever and takes our grand total to more than 23,000. We are proud to take part in Will Aid because the scheme helps all participants.”

Will Aid campaign manager Shirley Marsland said: “We are so grateful for Leeds Day Solicitor’s participation in Will Aid. It is amazing to have drafted so many wills for clients to raise this enormous sum in a few weeks.”
