HUNTINGDON-based Interaction Recruitment has acquired 31 branches of Kelly Services as part of a restructuring exercise. The Interaction Group was founded in 1986 and currently operates nine branches in the northern Home Counties. It specialises in providing temporary and permanent office support and industrial staff. The company also provides recruitment services in the driving, legal, financial, human resources, engineering and technology sectors. The new branches will extend as far as Bolton and York to the north and Plymouth and Worthing to the south. The aim is to integrate the two businesses, which employ 145 staff, completely "The acquisition of these branches means that Interaction is now a national agency offering services across the UK," said Interaction chairman Andrew Gilchrist. "We have been most impressed with our new colleagues and welcome them to Interaction where they will find a happy and motivated team. "The UK is seeing the major nationals struggle financially. They are closing branches and making redundancies, which will impact their already lacklustre service levels. In contrast, Interaction has been well run and is expanding, ready for the upturn when it occurs. "With our extra locations and the high-quality personalised service we offer, we aim to win more national accounts and to provide the high service levels that customers are looking for.
