BOAT-owners with craft based in the Huntingdon area no longer have to travel miles for a travel hoist service.
Wyton-based Daylock Marine Services have completed the installation of a concrete slipway to serve their newly-acquired travel hoist which can handle boats up to 80 feet long and weights up to 60 tonnes.
"We are the only local marine service and repairs operation to offer this service in the Huntingdon area," explained Mark Brewer of the family-owned business. "Already we are getting around three customers a week and expect this number to increase steadily over coming months".
Besides the marine services and berths, Daylock has a fully-licensed caf� and a busy boat-hire service on the River Ouse at Banks End, Wyton.
