HUNTINGDONSHIRE Business Network has organised a meeting with Huntingdonshire District Council to discuss the proposed new Local Economic Partnership to plug the gap set to be left by the demise of EEDA next year.
HUNTINGDONSHIRE Business Network has organised a meeting with Huntingdonshire District Council to discuss the proposed new Local Economic Partnership to plug the gap set to be left by the demise of EEDA next year.
The event is called the Information Exchange, and will take place on September 10 at the meeting room at the Indoor Bowls Club on St Peter’s Road, Huntingdon at 12.30pm.
The aim of the event is to enable local businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to large corporates, to come together with representatives of for the purpose of exchanging information and ideas about the future for business in Huntingdonshire.
“During the meeting we will gain an understanding of the current position for LEPs and how the development of these new agencies will affect Huntingdonshire,” said HBN’s Ruth Ekblom.

“We will be discussing how Huntingdonshire is placed, and the various strategies being developed, explored and highlighted for the benefit of our region relative to the LEPs and business.
“There will also be an explanation of the ways that businesses are now supported at local government level and will be in future, with special emphasis on the role of micro-businesses.”
