HUNTINGDONSHIRE estate agents Thomas Morris will be spending four expenses-paid days in Florida next April after being recognised last week as “among the most accomplished estate agents in the UK”.

The firm came away with a total of three awards from the Home Sale Network 2011 Awards Dinner on Friday, including the night’s top award, the Cartus Masters Cup from the global mobility and workforce development support network.

The Masters Cup is presented annually to the Cartus network broker who has demonstrated exceptional quality standards, surpassed quantity levels, delivered outstanding service, and exceeded metrics in key areas such as effective marketing and management of Cartus inventory properties, the group says.

Thomas Morris senior partner Simon Bradbury said the cup was the most coveted award given by the independent Home Sale Network of agents, with the winner selected as the network’s ‘estate agent of the year’.

“Nominees are selected for the award because of the outstanding service that they have provided to their customers,” he added. “They are judged on everything from marketing to customer care, professionalism to experience and reputation to commitment.”

Thomas Morris was also named top agent in the East of England, and won a Customer Relocation Award.

“The regional award gives the winning network member the title of ‘Best Agent in the East Region’ and is awarded on a number of criteria measuring the agent’s overall contribution to Home Sale Network, the ability to demonstrate customer satisfaction and a strong market share locally,” Mr Bradbury said.

“The Customer Relocation Award recognises those members that have generated the greatest number of referrals and met the required success rate.”

Mr Bradbury and colleagues, who received the awards from comedy actor Alexander Armstrong, will spend April 25-28 next year on an expenses-paid trip to the 2012 Cartus Broker Network international conference at the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando.

He told The Hunts Post: “We are very fortunate to have a fantastic group of people working at Thomas Morris whose commitment, hard work and high standards of customer service during the past year has made this prestigious win possible. It is a clear demonstration that the service we offer is ranked the highest in the network.”

Richard Tucker, Home Sale Network’s managing director, explained, “Home Sale Network is highly selective in its invitation-only membership, basing its membership criteria on quality of service, local expertise and professionalism.

“To have been awarded the Cartus Masters Cup is the highest accolade Home Sale Network can give and demonstrates that in our opinion Thomas Morris is among the most accomplished estate agents in the UK.”
