BUSINESSES from across Huntingdonshire are being invited to an Information Exchange Event to find out more about what is happening in the district and across the region.
The event on Friday September 10 is being hosted by Huntingdonshire Business Network (HBN).
The group has invited Helen Donnellan, sustainable development manager at Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC), to brief businesses on a range of topics relevant to the district’s businesses.
Topics will include the demise of the regional development agencies and the preparation for their replacements – the Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP).
Closer to home, Mrs Donnellan will also talk about the plans for Alconbury airfield that are starting to take shape, town centre partnership plans, support for small businesses and stalled plans for a Huntingdon innovation centre.INFORMATION: To register for this free event visit www.hbninformationexchange2010.eventbrite.com. Places are limited. The event will place between 1pm and 2pm at the Indoor Bowls Club, St Peter’s Road, Huntingdon.
