He replaces Sue Rogers, who is retiring at the end of March 2012 and who has led the association for 18 years. Dr Morris, currently sales manager with Crown Aerosols, takes over next month. Dr Morris is has been chairman of BAMA for the past year. He has served on BAMAs executive committee since 2005. Dr Morris gained a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Bradford and also holds a B Tech honours degree in chemistry. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson as a scientist and buyer. He went on to hold posts in Laporte Industries, working in a variety of senior management roles across a range of chemical industry sectors before moving to Swift Adhesives where he became the UK managing director. He has been with Crown since December 2003.
