CLIENTS of accountants George Hay of Huntingdon can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that their online tax return was filed before last Sunday's deadline.
George Hay use a specialist system external to the website used by the Revenue, meaning that they are not affected by heavy traffic on the site or by having to register on the main site prior to filing.
Tax partner Barry Jefferd said: "I am pleased to say we have successfully filed all of our clients' tax returns.
"I am a big fan of online filing as it reduces keying errors. Previously I have seen my clients receive tax bills which look more like their 10-digit reference number.
"In addition many of our clients this year are due refunds as a result of tax planning that will be received sooner than if filed manually.
