CHAN Abraham, chief executive of Huntingdon-based social landlord the Luminus Group, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration by Anglia Ruskin University.
The Anglia Ruskin alumnus received his honorary award from Anglia Ruskin’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Michael Thorne, alongside hundreds of students in Cambridge’s Corn Exchange today (Wednesday).
Professor Thorne, pictured, left, with Mr Abraham, said: “Chan Abraham is an inspirational leader: one who has achieved that rare feat of creating a successful business that is truly socially responsible.
“Since graduating from Anglia Ruskin University in 2001 with an MSc in leadership in management, Chan has maintained strong links with the university, sponsoring our Alumni Success in Business Award.”
