Free tasting at St Ives off-licence opening

CUSTOMERS who turned out for the official opening of a St Ives off-licence’s new premises were treated to a free wine-tasting with expert advice from Grafham-based Martin Straus.

Mace St Ives has been operating since 2007 as a Threshers franchise, and became independent in 2009, trading as Mace with the collaboration with Wine Mine Ltd.

The company recently moved to 2 Foundry Walk, off Market Hill, in St Ives, to offer an increased range of wines and spirits – premises that were officially opened by the Mayor of St Ives, Councillor David Hodge, who was pictured with, from left, Mr Straus, shop owner Mahesh Hetti and store manager Nish Siyabalapidiya.
