DISABILITY charity The Papworth Trust is now offering free motivational training to people claiming health-related benefits who want to get a job.
The GOALS (Gaining Opportunities and Living Skills) training is available to anyone registered on one of the trust's employment programmes. The two-day course is designed to raise confidence, help identify steps to improve the quality of life and help them find and keep a job which inspires them.
Neil Harding, from Papworth Employment Service, said: "As well as helping to develop confidence, which can often be lost when you have been out of work for some time, it also dispels misconceptions that a disability or health issue is a barrier to finding the job you want."
