GUEST speakers at Huntingdonshire Manufacturers’ Association’s next breakfast meeting, at the Huntingdon Marriott Hotel on Monday March 7, will be Iain McKechnie and Philip Selwood.

Iain, senior consultant at TUV NEL, will offer valuable insight into available funding from the EU for innovative design and R&D projects, which are costly but essential to business and the UK economy. He will be offering advice and detailed case studies of successful applications.

Philip, employer services manager, National Apprenticeship Service, will speak on ‘Apprenticeships – a solution to your skills gap’.

He will explain why planning ahead to ensure you have the right employees trained by ‘filling the skills gap’ is an important part of any business, but potentially costly, and how the National Apprenticeship Service can help companies and provide valuable training and support.
