ELMS Cambridge opened the doors of its new 8.5 million dealership on Monday at Sheepfold Lane, Cambourne. The company has relocated from intensely-used premises at Great Shelford to the new town, creating 12 extra jobs to the current team of 50. The 24-car BMW showroom boasts a premium undercover used car area, with a separate six-car MINI showroom, and a high-tech service workshop, which includes an MOT centre, a tyre service and a cosmetic repair centre. Extra service loan cars have been added to the fleet, and there are extra collection and delivery services now available throughout the day. There are also additional parking spaces for customers and a luxury caf-bar. Photovoltaic cells and energy-efficient lighting boost the new building’s green credentials.

Dealer principal Steve Penman said: “This new state-of-the-art dealership promises to be an inspiration for customers, employees and suppliers. Our team of established and new staff look forward to welcoming customers so they can see for themselves what we have to offer.”

Managing director Niall Hooper added: “Relocating to Cambourne enabled us to provide a purpose-built dealership for customers in the Cambridge and Huntingdon area. The building is designed to provide a unique customer experience with a focus on sustainability in line with the values of our business and the brands that we represent.”
