EACS, the award winning provider of IT solutions and managed services to businesses, which recently moved from Kimbolton to Huntingdon, has won the Datacentre Solution of the Year category at the European IT Excellence Awards 2012.
EACS worked with the East of England Co-operative Society to reduce the number of its servers by almost 90 per cent, with a projected cost saving of �188,840 and energy savings of 227,292 kWh over the next four years.
EACS was also a finalist in the Mobility Solution of the Year Award category for its work with East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
The European IT Excellence Awards attracted entries from 23 countries.
