THERE is no great mystique to being a successful businesswoman, Female Entrepreneur 2008 and current holder of The Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business of the Year Award, told a new women's business club.
"Follow your passion, develop your brand with quality products and get to know your customers' needs, Anne Furbank, who owns posh frock shops and the award-winning George Hotel and Brasserie in Buckden, told the first meeting of the Business Women Together (BW2) network.
"Don't cut corners but stay within your financial limits and you can grow your business well, even in these difficult times," she added. "Customers will always value quality and personal service, particularly when money is tight."
INFORMATION: BW2 meets on the last Wednesday of each month at the Waterside Leisure Club at Buckden Marina between noon and 2pm. The next meetings are on June 24 and July 29.
