A FLEDGLING Eynesbury-based design company is offering a charity or other non-profit-making organisation a free corporate makeover in a bid to get itself better known. The offer is in the form of an on-line competition. Blue Prawn Design, which was founded in 2004 by graphic designer Mark Davies, pictured, and is now a three-strong team, is expected to become a limited company this week.

It has made the charity offer, which is open until June 20, to celebrate the new status of the "full-service advertising and graphic design agency".

Mr Davies, who describes himself as the firm's head honcho, said: "Charities do a wonderful job. Desperately trying not to sound cheesy, we would like to give a little something back." He is offering a new corporate identity and website to the winner, which will be notified on June 27.

"Whether the organisation is just starting up and needs a face or has been around the block a few times and is looking a little weathered, the lucky winner will end up looking a million dollars. All they have to do is simply complete the online form." He said the work would normally command a price-tag of several thousand pounds.
