BBC Breakfast business journalist Declan Curry will be guest speaker at a business lunch hosted by the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce on Friday.
He will be presenting an overview of the key themes he perceives to be dominating the current national marketplace, paying particular attention to the impact the low carbon economy and climate change will have on Cambridgeshire's commercial sector.
Event sponsor David Moir, Director of Cambridgeshire Enterprise Services, said: "Declan's presence will bring together a wide range of different businesses from across the district, enabling them to network together."
Clydesdale Bank, another sponsor, will give its outlook on what businesses should expect from their banking service and highlight the steps the bank takes to assist business growth. Huntingdonshire Enterprise Agency will also outline the services it provides.
