Comms award for Hunts security firm
SECURITY awareness specialist The Security Company in Upper Dean, near Kimbolton, has been given an Award of Excellence by the Institute of Internal Communications for its security awareness programmes
At the award ceremony at the Leicester Marriot Hotel last week, the IoIC judges highlighted The Security Company’s overall effectiveness in adding value to clients.
Entries were supported by testimonials from clients, and the Huntingdonshire company’s submission included glowing references from Skills Funding Agency/Young People’s Learning Agency (SFA/YPLA) and the Royal Mail Group (RMG).
Carole Wysocki, communications and culture change specialist for SFA/YPLA said her organisation could not have achieved the success of its Information Security Education and Awareness campaigns without the firm’s contributions.
Vincent Hughes of the Royal Mail Group added: “The Security Company has been instrumental in raising awareness of information security across Royal Mail Group. They are not only thought leaders in their field but an invaluable resource for any company wanting to address information security awareness in a way that supports real behavioural and cultural change.”
