HUNTINGDON-based Chris Maryon has been appointed a main board director of £130million-a-year Haymills (Contractors) Ltd, which specialises in new build, refurbishment, alterations and property maintenance.
Haymills Conservation, set up in 2004 in St Peter's Road, Huntingdon, is a specialist business within Haymills in which the focus is on the conservation and restoration of historic and ecclesiastical buildings, together with high quality works to period and listed properties.
Mr Maryon has been promoted from conservation manager to conservation director in recognition, the group says, of the successful establishment of a profitable Huntingdon business unit and, more recently, the development of the business with both a specialist consultancy service and an Oxford satellite operation.
Haymills has operated in the Huntingdon area for more than 50 years.
