SMALL and medium-sized companies on the lookout for advice and financial backing in Huntingdonshire have a new Barclays manager to deal with.

Chai-Qi Rickard, known as Chi-Chi, is the bank's new local business manager in Huntingdon, part of the Cambridgeshire local business team whose task is to champion SMEs by providing what Barclays says are extensive localised knowledge and award-winning services to help people start up and grow a business.

Chi-Chi said: "This role provides me with an opportunity to work within an organisation that truly wants to help local businesses. I am personally looking forward to helping my customers achieve their ambitions, building stronger links with the local professionals and supporting the local economy."

She has joined Barclays from Travelex where she worked in commercial foreign exchange as national account manager.
