A NEW village shop and delicatessen has opened in Spaldwick, offering fresh produce from surrounding villages.
The business has been opened by Darrell Haylett, head chef at The George of Spaldwick for the past three years, and his wife Maud, and they aim to offer fresh, local produce for villagers to enjoy.
Produce available will include eggs from Alpha Farm, potatoes, strawberries and honey from Pidley, Tom’s Cakes from Somersham, freshly-baked bread, cold pressed rapeseed oil and organic flours from Glebe Farm, Kings Ripton.
