GREAT PAXTON print wholesalers Prosis Print Management Ltd has fought off national competition to win a multi-million unit contract.
PPML will produce around 3.75million brochures for a client in the travel sector for a national campaign expected to be launched around the turn of the year. The 36-page brochure will appear in national publications as an insert and form part of an extensive postal direct-mail campaign. The print run will require 260 tonnes of paper and 15 days of production capacity.
PPML's Frank Golden said: "We are over the moon to have won this order, reconfirming that the organisation now has the depth of knowledge and credibility to turn heads in all markets, from the micro-business right through to the UK's largest PLCs.
"This was a particularly hard win for us, as capacity in the web offset market was tightening on a daily basis while the paper industry was threatening a paper price increase on November 1. However, we remained focused and took what can be described only as a commercial leap of faith.
