Anna Capasso has been seconded to Papworth-based Health Enterprise East Limited (HEE), the enterprise hub for healthcare in the East of England, as innovation manager - service delivery.
The move reflects the increasing number of innovations being dealt with by HEE, which relate to new ways of delivering an existing service or the introduction of a new service to benefit patients, the organisation said.
Anna's role will focus on innovations that will improve the delivery of care and share good practice.
After qualifying as a registered nurse in mental health in 1985, Anna worked in a variety of healthcare fields such as learning disabilities, palliative care and acute and elderly mental health. She also has a BSc in community nursing specialist practice.
