A BUS shelter in Pidley was destroyed in a road accident on Monday.
Police were called to the High Street at 12.45pm to reports that a car had crashed into the bus shelter, before entering a ditch at the side of the road.
The Mistubishi Shogun also struck a telegraph pole, which was knocked over.
An ambulance attended and treated the driver, a woman in her 60s, for minor injures.
BT and Highways were contacted to clear up the damage.
