More than 100 homes in Brampton were left without water on Wednesday evening due to a burst water main.
Anglian Water engineers were called to repair the plastic main in Thrapston Road, which burst about 3.30pm.
A spokesman for the company said it was expected that the issue should be fixed later this evening and added that by 6pm all but three homes had been reconnected.
He also apologised to those affected.
