Officers are stepping up patrols in St Ives and the surrounding area after three homes were targeted by burglars.
Thieves broke into a home in Great Farthing Close, St Ives, on Thursday (April 18) between 1.45pm and 3.45pm, stealing gold jewellery.
Later on Thursday, burglars attempted to get into a house in Bell Lane, Fenstanton, at about 5.15pm but were unsuccessful.
A third property, in The Furlongs, Needingworth, was broken into between April 17 and 21 where gold jewellery was again stolen.
Pc Jo Grant said: “The Priority Crime Team are in St Ives now, and will be in St Ives conducting patrols and actively looking for persons who are committing these offences. If you see or hear anything which you think may be relevant please let me know.”
