Police have named a woman who died after a crash on the A141 yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon as Beryl Radbourne, of Knowles Road, Brampton.
The 78 year old was driving a Rover 25 which was involved in a collision with a Mercedes van at the junction with the B1090 at about 3.45pm.
She was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge but her condition deteriorated and she died.
The driver of the van, a 35-year-old man from Abbots Ripton, was not injured.
Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact the road policing unit on 101.
