TWO boys suffered minor injuries after being assaulted and robbed in St Neots.

The attack happened at around 10.30pm on Friday, Jul 15 on a footpath near to River Road in Eaton Ford.

Four men approached the boys, attacked them and stole their mobile phones - a black iPhone and a silver iPhone with a name engraved on the back.

After the assault the men ran off towards the skate park.

The first attacker is described as white, aged around 17, around 5'8" with a slim build and dark blonde hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.

The second is described as white, aged around 17, around 6' tall, with a medium build and short brown hair.

He was wearing a dark blue running jacket made from a shiny fabric with a high collar which he used to conceal his mouth.

PC James Bowen, investigating, said: "The area around the skate park was fairly busy at the time and we would like to hear from anyone who remembers seeing this group of young men in the area.

"This was a vicious and upsetting attack for the victims and any information no matter how small could help us to bring the offenders to justice."

Anyone with information should contact PC Bowen at Huntingdon Police Station on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
