A 10-year-old boy was injured last night in a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Huntingdon.

A 10-year-old boy was injured last night in a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Huntingdon.

The boy suffered slight injuries in the incident, which occurred near the iron bridge on Ermine Street at around 4.50pm.

A team from Magpas Helimedix attended the incident and assessed the child before he was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital to be checked over.

An ambulance service spokesman said: “A 10-year-old male was injured in the incident. He was found conscious and breathing at the scene, and complaining of injuries to his face and hands. He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.”

Police were also present at the incident, and the road was cleared by 6.05pm.
