Dozens of people are preparing to push themselves to the limit to raise funds for the Macmillan Woodlands Centre.

Personal trainer Luke Seymour will be putting 50 people through their paces with an action-packed bootcamp session at St Peter's School, in Huntingdon, on September 20.

The 90-minute session will see volunteers stepping, punching and jumping their way to much-needed funds for the centre. Organisers hope the event will raise at least £1,000 for the centre.

And, after their 90-minute exertions, boot camp volunteers will then be invited to take part in a tug-of-war tournament, with prizes up for grabs. The event takes place from 10am.

The Woodlands Centre, at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in Huntingdon, specialises in cancer treatment and recovery and is set to undergo a £1.2million upgrade and extension to cope with the growing number of patients calling on its services.
