A MAN’S body was found near a lake in Godmanchester last night (Tuesday).
Police were called shortly after 6.30pm after a member of the public raised concerns for the man near Rectory Farm, Godmanchester. When officers arrived they discovered the man’s body.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called at 6.36pm, by a member of the public, following concerns for a man at the lakes just of off Rectory Farm in Godmanchester.
“When officers arrived they discovered a man’s body.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and the matter has been passed to the coroner.”
