A ST Ives woman whose anti-social behaviour caused problems to police on a daily basis has been banned from all pubs in Huntingdonshire.

Joanne Warcup, 34, of Norris Road, was convicted of offences including actual bodily harm, battery, assaulting a police officer and criminal damage in September.

She was handed a two-year criminal anti-social behaviour order - or CRASBO - by magistrates at Huntingdon on November 3.

Under its terms, she is banned from:

- Having any open containers of alcohol in a public place in Huntingdonshire

- Entering any 'on license' premises within Huntingdonshire

- Being abusive, insulting, threatening or otherwise acting in a manner capable of causing harassment, alarm or distress to any person within Huntingdonshire.

Sergeant Becky Jones said: "This is the result of a lot of hard work. She was causing significant issues in St Ives town centre and incidents were being reported to us on a daily basis.

"It is very important that residents help us to enforce this order by informing us about any breaches.

"I hope it sends out a strong, clear message that we will not tolerate anti-social behaviour."

INFORMATION: Anyone who sees Warcup breaching the order should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
