The youngsters were among a number of people caught up in the collision at junction 28 around midday on Saturday (July 30) which led to major delays for motorists. Magpas paramedics and ambulance crews were at the scene and treated a man with minor chest injuries, a woman with lower back pain and a man and woman suffering from whiplash. The man with chest injuries was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital. Traffic was backed up to Hemingford junction 25 while police closed one lane of the A14 for nearly an hour following the crash.
