A MOTORBIKE and a skip were targeted by arsonists in separate incidents on Wednesday (August 24).
The first fire was in St Marys in St Neots, where a motorbike had been set alight. The fire spread to nearby trees and bushes.
A fire crew from St Neots arrived at the scene at 12.25am and the fire was extinguished by 2.10am.
At 4am there was skip fire at the Co-op store on Constable Road, St Ives. A fire crew from St Ives extinguished the fire by 5.20am, using one hose reel and one jet to extinguish the fire.
A fire service spokesman confirmed that both fires were caused deliberately.
