ARSONISTS set fire to a shed close to the A1 at Little Paxton yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
Firefighters from St Neots and Sandy extinguished the shed fire in a wood between Little Paxton and the Cambridgeshire border at 2.30pm. Fire investigators said the fire was started deliberately.
Fire crews were sent to a rubbish lorry on fire on the Great North road at Eaton Ford today (Monday) at 3.20am.
The fire had broken out in the refuse which firefighters extinguished after it was dumped on a “safe area”. The cause of the fire was accidental.
