A fire in Ramsey High Street was started deliberately, investigators have said.
Firefighters from Ramsey were called to an open area shortly after 9pm on Tuesday (July 31) following reports of smoke seen billowing from the vicinity.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters arrived to find an unattended bonfire and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 10.05pm.”
The spokesman added that the cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
