Arsonists set fire to a shed at a St Ives golf course.
One crew from Huntingdon was called at 3.45pm on Saturday (October 18), where they used hose reels to put out the flames at the old golf course in High Leys.
They returned to base by 4.45pm.
Firefighter Scott Fretwell, incident commander at the fire, said: “Arson is a serious crime. Deliberate fire setting in a public place is not only a costly expense on public services but is very dangerous. The people who start the fire are not just putting their own lives at risk but are risking the lives of other people, property and wildlife.”
