Police have arrested two men following a raid at a post office in St Ives.
The incident took place shortly before 6.30am on Saturday at Whateley’s, in Ramsey Road, with raiders bursting into the premises and demanding cash.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: “Two men from St Ives, aged 36 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of robbery. They have been released on police bail until January 26, 2016.”
The spokesman said that a “quantity of cash was stolen during the incident”.
