POLICE are appealing for information after a cyclist was found with life-threatening injuries on the side of the A14 last night.
The 49-year-old casualty was found on the edge of the eastbound carriageway near Bar Hill at 5.50pm. His bike had been struck and was found in the carriageway.
Inspector Terry Furlong said: “Officers are investigating an incident. A cyclist has been located on the edge of the road. His cycle has been struck and run over in the carriageway.
“We are keen to talk to anyone who witnessed a collision in the area. The casualty is a 49-year-old man. His injuries are thought to be serious and potentially life-threatening.”
