Staff from Huntingdon-based Anglian Water braved the sunshine and showers to volunteer for charity at Glastonbury music festival.
Nicole Synan, Maria Woods, Sophia Ronketti, Gareth Thomas, Claire Piper and Victoria Bannerman helped man the toilets, clean the latrines, and fill up water bottles.
They also helped gather 46,166 petition signatures for WaterAid’s Make It Happen campaign, which calls for access to safe, clean water and toilets for everyone, everywhere by 2030.
Ms Synan said: “It was great to be part of the WaterAid team at Glastonbury – soaking up the fantastic festival atmosphere while helping make a difference. It was easy to collect signatures for the Make it Happen campaign as once people realised all they have to do is sign their name to help everyone, everywhere have access to clean water and sanitation it was a no brainer.”
