Hundreds of families enjoyed a harvest festival event in Huntingdon on Saturday.
The event, organised by Huntingdon Methodist Church and St Mary`s Church, in High Street, was part of the harvest weekend organised by the Methodists, and helpers from other churches in the town were involved in making the day a success.
There was a tractor, farm animals, more than 30 farm-related games, challenges and crafts for visitors to enjoy as well as free refreshments.
The event was the idea of Rich Schwier, the young people’s outreach worker at the Methodist church, who said the event was one of a series that the churches had organised together.
Following on from the harvest event, there are plans for a light party at the end of October, as well as Christmas celebrations.
