A man suffered serious injuries following a collision near St Ives yesterday (Friday).
Emergency services, including the Magpas air ambulance, were called to the town at about 4.50pm following reports that a car and a motorbike had collided.
A spokesman for Magpas said: “The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient, in his 50s, who had sustained multiple injuries. They gave the man advanced pain relief and sedated him at the scene, providing him with A&E-level care, before then flying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for further treatment.”
The spokesman said the man was in a “stable condition” upon arrival at hospital.
An East of England Ambulance Service paramedic crew, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service crews and Cambridgeshire Police were also in attendance.
