A man suffered serious arm injuries after falling from a ladder in Eaton Socon.

Crews from the East of England Ambulance Service and Magpas Helimedix were called to Simpkin Close at about 5.30pm on Tuesday following reports that a man had fallen from height.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We dispatched a rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew, and air ambulance from Magpas to assist.

“At the scene a man, believed to be in his 60s, was treated for an arm injury before taking him to Hinchingbrooke Hospital via land ambulance for further care.”

According to the ambulance service, the man was in a stable condition on arrival at hospital.

A spokesman for Magpas told The Hunts Post: “The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the patient who had sustained an arm injury. They provided the man with pain relief and splinted his injuries so he could be safely transferred to Hinchingbrooke Hospital.”
