A MOTORIST was killed in a crash on the road, which police were called to at 10.39am. The air ambulance also attended the scene after a car hit the central reservation near the Spittals interchange. No one else was injured in the incident.
Both carriageways of the A14 were closed for nearly two hours following the accident, but were reopened at 12.30pm, a Highways Agency spokesman confirmed.
